The Legacy of Sacrifice
On this Memorial Day weekend, we pause not only to honor the fallen heroes of our nation but to reflect on the deeper heartbeat of Christian love—sacrifice. From the cross of Christ to the daily acts of selfless service, true love always costs something. This message draws us from remembrance to participation, challenging us to become living sacrifices whose lives reflect the grace we’ve received. As we gather around the Lord’s Table, we are renewed and recommissioned to carry sacrificial love into the world. Because in the kingdom of God, sacrifice isn’t optional—it’s the very rhythm of Christ-shaped love.
