Description

LISTEN: February 23, 2025 Sermon Audio – In a world that glorifies busyness, we often mistake productivity for spiritual health, filling our schedules with work, ministry, and obligations while neglecting time with God. The story of Mary and Martha (Luke 10:38-42) reminds us that even good things can distract us from what matters most – sitting at Jesus’ feet. Like William Wilberforce, who balanced his abolitionist fight with deep personal devotion, we must prioritize stillness with God over relentless activity. Psalm 46:10 calls us to “Be still and know that I am God,” reminding us that true impact comes not from doing more but from being with Him. If we are too busy for God, we are simply too busy. Will we choose busyness, or will we choose Jesus?
