How to: Text to Tithe

It’s here! Text-to-Give has landed at North Pole Church of the Nazarene. All you need is a smart phone, a payment method, and couple minutes to get set up. Sign up is lightning fast whether you’re brand new or a longtime giver. Standard Message & Data Rates May Apply.

Those are the only instructions you will need! If you’ve never set up Text-to-Give, you’ll be prompted to add a payment method. If it’s also your first time giving, a new donor account will be set up for you automatically. Essentially, Text-to-Give needs three elements:

Text-to-Give Set-Up

During set up, the system will use your geographical location and phone number to suggest churches nearby: select “North Pole Church of the Nazarene”. If you ever want to disconnect your phone from your current donor profile at NPCN, simply sending the common “STOP” keyword to 84321.

Fund-specific donations
To give to a specific fund, you can specify it like so: $10 general or $20 cr. Keywords for fund names have been established to make text message donations more convenient. Here is the list of available fund names: “general” (or leave blank), “cr” for Celebrate Recovery, “fp” for Faith Promise for missions, or “pfd” to tithe on your Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend. To get help, the Text-to-Give system will respond to the “HELP” keyword.

Easy Text-to-Give donations
Really, Text-to-Give donations are another way to give using a credit, debit, or ACH bank account. For regular givers, it’s simply a faster way to do it!
